FAQ

Where are you located?

My office is in the Lake Elmo Bank Building, off of 94 and Inwood Ave, in Oakdale, Minnesota.

600 Inwood Avenue North
Suite 155
Oakdale, MN 55128

What are your hours?

Sessions are scheduled Tuesday – Friday, 9am – 4pm. Current availability can be discussed during your phone consultation.

How long are sessions?

Most sessions are 55 minutes. Upon request, intensive 85-minute sessions are helpful for deeper processing.

Do you provide telehealth sessions?

Yes. These are an option for Minnesota residents.

How do I pay for sessions?

All major credit cards are accepted, including Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.

Superbill receipts are offered to submit to your insurance for out-of-network fee reimbursement upon request.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I require 24 hours’ notice. The full session fee is charged for missed appointments or late cancellations.

In the case of emergency, severe weather, or illness, I will make an attempt to reschedule your appointment the same week or add an additional appointment the following week, when possible. Telehealth sessions are also an option.

How do I begin working with you?

The best way to reach me is by filling out my contact form. From there, we can set up a free 15-minute phone consultation to decide if we would work well together.

If we decide to move forward, we’ll set up your first appointment, or I can help you connect with someone who might be a better fit.

The number one predictor of successful therapy outcomes is a having good relationship with the therapist, so it’s important to find the right match!

What should I expect during my first appointment?

In your first appointment, you may share whatever you like about what led you to reaching out and what your hopes are from therapy.

I can let you know more about how we might work together and you can ask me any questions you may have.

With whom do you work?

I work individually with adults (20+) who are ready and motivated for healing.

How long does therapy take?

This is very individual and is influenced by many factors. How often and for how long we meet can be fluid, based on what you are needing and requesting.

What is your professional training and experience?

I received my Masters (M.A.) in 2001 and Doctorate (PsyD) in 2006, in Clinical Psychology, from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology.
